Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 16, 2026 · Operator: Bridg

This Privacy Policy explains how Bridg (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Bridg websites, profile pages, the editor, and related services (the “Service”). It is designed to meet common expectations of platforms such as Meta and Google for transparency, user choice, and lawful processing. It is not legal advice. Contact details and entity information should be completed for your jurisdiction.

1. Who we are

Bridg is a creator “link bridge”: public pages that display a creator’s profile, social links, and a primary destination link. Creators manage content through a password-protected editor. For privacy questions, contact us atprivacy@bridg.to.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Public Bridg profile pages (for example, /yourhandle)
  • The Bridg editor and related APIs
  • Legal pages and other Bridg-hosted pages on our domains

It does not apply to third-party websites or apps you open from a Bridg page (for example Instagram, TikTok, OnlyFans, or any other destination). Those services have their own privacy policies. We do not control their practices.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information creators provide

  • Profile content: display name, handle, tagline, photos, social URLs, featured link URL and label, badges, verification flags, and similar content you upload or enter in the editor.
  • Account / access credentials: editor password (or similar secret) used to authenticate management of a profile. We process authentication requests; store secrets only as required to operate the editor securely.
  • Media uploads: images you upload for hero, featured, or social grid cards, stored in our hosting/storage backend.

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Technical and log data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP (city/region level at most).
  • Security and abuse signals: rate limits, failed login attempts, and similar telemetry needed to protect the Service.
  • Client environment signals (limited): whether the page is opened in an in-app browser (for example Instagram, TikTok, Telegram) so we can show “open in external browser” guidance. This is used only for UX on your device and is not used to build advertising profiles.

3.3 Information we do not intentionally collect

  • We do not require visitors to create an account to view a public profile.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not use visitors’ social login to Bridg unless we clearly add that feature and update this Policy.
  • We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, microphone, camera, or photo library access except where you explicitly upload media in the editor.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate, host, and display creator profiles and links
  • Authenticate creators and save profile edits
  • Improve reliability, performance, and user experience
  • Detect fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents
  • Comply with law, enforce Terms, and respond to lawful requests
  • Communicate about the Service (for example support or security notices)

Legal bases where GDPR/UK GDPR apply include: performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, improvement, non-intrusive analytics), consent where required (for example certain cookies or marketing), and legal obligation.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use strictly necessary cookies or local/session storage for editor authentication, preferences, and security. If we add non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this Policy and, where required, obtain consent. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Age and mature destinations

Bridg is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Creators may mark featured destinations as 18+; visitors may see an age confirmation before leaving Bridg. Age confirmation is a UX control only—it is not government ID verification. Destinations with adult content remain the responsibility of the creator and the third-party site.

7. Sharing of information

We may share information with:

  • Infrastructure providers: hosting, storage, CDN, and edge platforms that process data on our behalf (for example cloud/hosting partners).
  • Professional advisors and legal authorities: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Profile content you publish is public by design. Anyone with the link can view it. Do not publish personal data you do not want public.

When a visitor taps a social or featured link, they leave Bridg for a third-party service. That service may receive standard browser referral information and any data the visitor provides there under that service’s policies (including Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.).

8. International transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (for example standard contractual clauses).

9. Data retention

We retain profile content while the profile is active and for a reasonable period after deletion or inactivity for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations, then deleted or aggregated.

10. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures (access controls, HTTPS, least-privilege infrastructure). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping editor passwords confidential.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information if applicable under US state law
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Creators can edit or remove profile content in the editor. For other requests, emailprivacy@bridg.to. We may need to verify your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

12. California and other US state notices

We do not sell personal information as commonly defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics beyond operating the Service. Categories of data we process are described above (identifiers, internet activity, user-generated content). You may submit requests via the contact email above.

13. Meta, Google, and other platforms

Bridg may be opened inside in-app browsers operated by Meta, Google, Apple, TikTok, and others. Those companies process data under their own policies. Bridg does not act as Meta’s or Google’s data controller for your activity on their platforms. If we later integrate official SDKs, login, pixels, or ads, we will update this Policy, honor platform terms, and implement required disclosures and controls.

14. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. There is no uniform standard for responding; we treat visitors consistently under this Policy.

15. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes means you acknowledge the updated Policy. Material changes may be highlighted on the Service or communicated to creators when appropriate.
